1.My chunky men’s style vintage pink Rolex. It was a gift and a luxury accessory I will always cherish.

2. Elena Antoniades‘ silk jersey dress from the 2012 collection is such a great pop of color, and so easy to wear. I’m in love with it!

3. My Filomena carry-all. So perfect to fit everything I need for the day and just go!

4. My vintage Christian Dior men’s style peepers make the perfect readers.

5. BALLET. I have a huge passion for the dance that started very young. The adult classes at Edge in Hollywood are great.

The Controversial Kombucha Tea

Kombucha Tea has become the new trend for health nuts and celebrities alike. Both Madonna and Lindsay Lohan have been spotted sipping this beverage. It can be bought commercially or made at home.

Kombucha is a living enzyme drink, known for being an immune system enhancer. Since varying sanitation conditions when homemaking this tea can occur, many opt for the commercial brands, which come in a variety of flavors. However, the tea is quite controversial. Some doctors warn to stay away, while others endorse Kombucha, claiming it has helped many people ward off liver disease, increase energy, and aide with joint recovery. This ancient beverage has origins in the Far East, and has been regarded for thousands of years as “the Elixir of Life” and “the Tea of Immortality.”

Mardi Gras Celebrations

It’s Fat Tuesday y’all, which means today is the last day to feast! Traditional New Orleans custom dictates that “King Cake” should be made today. A plastic baby is baked into the cake, and is decorated in three colors: green (representing faith), purple (representing justice) and gold (representing power). It is essentially cinnamon-filled dough in the shape of a circle with sugary icing on top. What’s not to love?
